Casper

I haven't posted about the little guy in a long time so I thought I would slap up a few pictures. I sure am going to miss him when I head to Japan.

Isn't he cute!!!!

All good things must come to an end

Erin left yesterday, boohoo! We had a really good time together. I'm thankful the Lord has blessed me with such a good friend.

Erin was able to fly out of our local airport which is really small. There was a little restaurant where we were able to have a bite to eat before she left. My mother, Erin and I had a good laugh when the boarding call was made by the pilot coming over to our table to tell us that the plain was leaving in 15 minutes.

The Birthday Boy

Tonight we went out for my father's birthday supper. From the look on his face, you can tell he enjoyed himself.

The restaurant was decorated beautifully for Christmas.

Finally Day 4

We have been following the Pioneer Woman's blog for several years now. When I noticed that the PW was going to have a book signing in West Chester, PA, I got on the phone that night and asked Erin if she wanted to take a little trip.

We didn't realized we needed to get a number, so we were about the 10th to last in line. It was okay though because we met several nice ladies and had a good time getting to know them.

The PW spent about a half hour doing Q & A. It was really neat to see her down home personality and she even did Ethel Merman for us.

Here the PW is talking to Amy in South Africa!!!! I told Amy to make sure her phone was by the bed and I'll see if Ree would be willing to talk to her....I think it made Amy's day.

After waiting in line for 3 1/2 hours, Erin and I finally met the Pioneer Woman.

Day 3 in Philly

Erin and I braved the train and went into Philadelphia for the day. This was Erin's first time and we had a blast seeing all the sites.

Independence Hall
It was our first time taking the train by ourselves so we were both pretty nervous. Here are the two happy travelers after they made it home safe and sound.

Day 2

Jane couldn't make it the night before for supper with Penny and the kids so we did lunch.....at Chick-Fil-A. We had a good time and many laughs.

Erin is showing off!!!

That evening, we got together with some former college friends. It was soooooo much fun to see Sandy and Sonia again. We laughed and laughed and laughed remembering the "old" days.

Our First Day

After picking Erin up from the airport, we went to Erin's new favorite place to eat, Chick-Fil-A, with my sister and her children.

It was so much fun spending time with Penny, Kathy, and Billy.

The Billster was all smiles and screamed like a little girl when I tried to put him in the trash can.

She's coming

Erin is flying in tomorrow and I can't wait. This is going to be our last fling together before I head to Japan. We have a fun filled week ahead of us and I'll be sure to keep you all updated.

Pampered Chef Party

I've been telling my mother off and on throughout this past year that I wanted to host a Pampered Chef Party but just never got around to it. Well, tonight it finally happened.

With those who attended the show and the outside orders, I can say the it was a success....the best one I've ever hosted. A big thank you to all the ladies.

Deep dish hamburger pizza was the recipe for the night.

I've always told myself the next time I host a party, I'm going to get the mandoline if it was cheap enough. Because the party did so well, I was able to get it FREE!!!! Also, I was able to get a few stocking stuffers for my Mother. Mom, bet your wondering what they are =)
